VS IDE Plugin and Subversion

The IDE feature with submitting developer builds to the build system looks like exactly what we're looking for, however we're using Visual Studio and Subversion. It seems like it supports Eclipse and Subversion, and Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server, but not Visual Studio and Subversion.

Are there any plans to add this feature? Should I submit a feature request through JIRA?

We are considering to implement personal builds for VS/SVN combination in the next major version of TeamCity. Jira issue doesn't exist yet and you can create it to ease our work :)

Kind regards,

Hello acook,

Thank you for that issue.
I found you've created an issue http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/browse/TW-2538
in our Jira to vote for.

Just curious what way do you intergate SVN to VS, or what software to you
use to deal with SVN.

Right now we use TortoiseSVN and VS 6.0. However we're probably going to upgrade to VS 2005 in the near future.

As for IDE integration, we tried to use PushOK SVN for VS 6.0 but it really didn't suit our needs. AnkhSVN for VS.NET and up looks promising, too, however we're not on VS 2005 yet.

If we had this plugin and bought TeamCity, we'd probably use that as an excuse to upgrade to VS 2005 in pretty short order.
