Hello Robert,

Disconnected agent is an agent which is currently considered by server as
inaccessible (i.e. it does not answer on server commands). For example,
agent might not answer on server ping command, or it can be in the process
of upgrade, or simply turned off. If the reason of disconnection is
"Upgrading" then most likely such an agent will became connected soon. In
other cases it make sense to go to agent PC and check agent logs and
probably restart it.

What is a disconnected agent (as opposed to a disabled agent)? How do I
reconnect it?

Hi Pavel,
How do I permanently remove an agent from this list? I started an agent
on a machine that I shouldn't have, but of course after stopping it it
remains in the "Disconnected agents" list. I would like to remove it so
that nobody is tempted to try and re-start it again.

Hello Robert,

At the moment you can't do this. After two weeks of inactivity such an agent
will be removed automatically. There is JIRA request for manual removal of
disconnected agent: http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/browse/TW-1806
