Outdated version in agent?

Hostname/IP: localhost/127.0.0.1
Port: 9090
Operating system: Linux, version 2.6.17-10-server
Version: 4261 (outdated, current version is unknown)

Outdated agent? - What does this mean?

BTW: I still have only a command line runner. What do I have to configure that it works with ANT?

Best regards,
Roland

Usually agent becomes outdated when a new version of TeamCity server is
installed. Agents should upgrade automatically, so outdated agents should
dissapear after some time. In your case however agent became outdated
because server does not know its version (this could be caused by some bug
in the server). Could you please describe your TeamCity installation? What
container do you use? How did you install TeamCity server (.war, .tar.gz)?
What version is shown in the footer (between Help and License agreement
links)?

Hi Pavel,

I downloaded teamcity 2.1.1 by wget and installed it directly on a linux machine. I put the war file directly into the tomcat webapps directory. It shows "TeamCity Version 2.1.1(build unknown) ". It is quite weird, but there is no directory in webapps, but Teamcity is running (at least the webinterface).

What servlet container do you use? Try to restart TeamCity with unpacked war
file.
