Dependant builds not triggering when doing a remote run via IntelliJ

I have builds "B" and "C" which are dependant on "A". When "A" completes successfully this should trigger both builds "B" and "C" to run. I have configured this in TeamCity and it works correctly when using the TeamCity web based interface to manually kick of build "A".

However, when running build "A" remotely, from IntelliJ, only build "A" runs and not "B" and "C".

All three builds configurations are very basic and using the command line runner.

What am I doing wrong? Has anyone else come across this? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Many thanks,
Leon Davis

Hello Leon,

Currently, TeamCity doesn't trigger dependent builds for personal builds. The reason for this is that there are few ways to pass sources from personal build to dependent build. So we considered such triggering useless. What is your use case, how do you want to use this feature?
