Team City Adminstration via scripting/remoting?

I don't know how others are doing with Team City but I have couple hundreds of small project. Ideally I would like to add them all to Team City. Adding them by hand and configuring would take ages.
I would like to be able to insert those projects into Team City programmatically.
Ideally some API in one of the scripting languages (e.g. Ruby) will be really a great thing for doing that. Java API (RMI/SOAP) would be also not bad.

Does something like this already exist or is planned?

Without such feature I can hardly imaging administration of a big Team City installation.

TeamCity provides Java API for project management (see ProjectManager
class). Using this API you can create projects, add build configurations,
configure requirements and so on. Or you can generate project configuration
files (in XML format). In this case TeamCity will detect your changes on
disk and load them automatically.
