Upgrade to TeamCity 3.0 will be free for all existing customers. If your IDEA license works with released TeamCity versions (it means IDEA license was purchased before January 15, 2007), it will continue to work with TeamCity 3.0.

Yes, if you buy licenses for TeamCity 2.0 now, the licenses will be valid for TeamCity 3.0.

Are these mapped to "enterprise" licenses at all?

OK, there is no way to buy TeamCity 2.0 licenses anymore. Guess why?
TeamCity 3.0 is out! :)

So I just noticed - downloading :)

Sadly I just saw the pricing for the enterprise edition :( $2000US is a lot. I suppose I could install multiple TCs to get extra build configurations, but i'd rather not run multiple servers.

Which is a shame :(

As we mentioned earlier, upgrades for this version are free, so:

If you have any license(s) that worked with TeamCity 1.x or 2.x, you can get Enterprise server license for free from our sales department (see details at http://www.jetbrains.com/teamcity/buy/index.html#upgradeuser_enterprise )

Previous licenses will be recognized as agent licenses with the number of agents equal to the number of users in the license.
