Build Labeling: Can TC use defined properties other than build.number?

As per the subject. I am not able to specify other properties which
we use for versioning our projects using the %property.name% syntax.

So, is it possible and how, and if not, how difficult is it to add support for this?

Cheers,

Bonny

Bonny,

Currently, only build.number is supported in VCS label pattern.

You can write a TeamCity plugin which will set arbitrary label on your build, see SFinishedBuild::setLabel call.

Kind regards,

Just found this post after wrestling with same/similar problem.

Is there anywhere we can vote for additional parameters (specifically %system.build.vcs.number.N%, but ideally all the properties available on the build properties page) to be recognised/parsed in the next release?

Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Andrew.
