Move to new server

MySql database - 3.0.1 (6010) - is there a simple way to move to a new
server? Copy a bunch of files over? (I have backups, but would rather
not go through a restore process if copying a bunch of stuff over would
be simpler (even if slower)).

Hello,

I think you can try to install new MySQL server and then simply overwrite
"data" folder of the new server with "data" folder of the old one.

What about the TeamCity server stuff? Same thing? With the .BuildServer
folder?

Hello,

There are two folders in .BuildServer:
- "config" folder contains files describing your projects configuration (in
XML format)
- "system" folder contains all other files, including artifacts, build logs
and so on.

So you should move ".BuildServer" folder as well. If you like you can drop
some of the artifacts (they are stored in directories like:
system/artifacts///) or build logs (system/messages folder). Keep in mind however that if you delete these files you won't be able to view logs or download artifacts of the corresponding builds. -- Pavel Sher Software Developer JetBrains, Inc. http://www.jetbrains.com "Develop with pleasure!"
