How can I set up TeamCity to recognize NUnit assembly?

I'm the first time TeamCity user (and CI). When I run the build, I have error message that "Could not locate the assembly nunit.framework...".

How can I set up TeamCity to recognize NUnit assembly?

Thanks,

This time I can resolve it by adding nunit.framework.dll to my project (by making a lib folder, copy the file into it, and update project to refer to that file). But are there any other ways?

Hello,

Actually there are only two ways:
- add reference to nunit.framework to you project without using GAC,
i.e. nunit.framework.dll should by copied to the folder where you test's
dll(s) is (are).
- add reference to nunit.framework using GAC. This solution requires
to have nunit.framework.dll installed to GAC on all build agent's machines.
And it can produce version confilicts is there are several project's that
use different version of NUnit.Framework, but configured to run on the same
build agent.

I recoment you to consider using the first way.

It is interesting, what way was chosen whan you had faced the issue?

Thanks!

Hello Eugene,

Thanks for the explanation. Actually I also thought about the second way.
