How to create "inspections profile file"

Inpections runner can be run with mapping different from default (from the .ipr file).
But it requires some " inspections profile file relative to the project root directory". How can I create it?

Hello Vitaly,

IDEA has project inspection profiles stored in .ipr file and IDE inspection
profiles stored in USER_HOME/IntelliJ IDEA 7.0/config/inspections. You can
copy profile file from this directory and place it somewhere under version
control (in order to point relative to the project root directory).

Thank you

P.S. In order to transform project profile into IDE profile you may use "save
as" action.

Is there any some way to use maven's pom with Insection profile specified in my ipr file?

pom.xml treated as replacement for .ipr file. If you do have .ipr file why do you need to use pom?

BTW You may copy/save your profile as IDE profile and put resulting .xml from USER_HOME/IntelliJ IDEA/config/inspections to the version control. Use mapping profile-scope from .ipr file with pom is not supported.

Thank you

I have .ipr that is auto generated on the base of my pom. Inspecitons profile doesn't understand lib and JDK dependencies of my .ipr, but understand them from my pom.

I was incorrect accroding to JDK. I use JDK specified via JAVA_HOME variable. But libs aren't picked up in the case of .ipr and are in the case of pom.

Please check Inspections runner's setting page. Do you have your libraries mentioned there? Thanks

Pardon, could you describe me a little bit more where my libraries should be mentioned.

Den,

The libraries are configured on the Inspections Runner settings, on the same page you enter path to pom.xml. After saving the form with the path, the pom is parsed and libraries found are displayed so that you can specify paths to them.
