How to fail entire Project when one Build/Deploy activity fails?

Does anyone know how I can fail an entire project anytime a single Build or Deploy step fails in a project?

There are no options I can find that allow me to do so. Any help would be appreciated very much! :)

Hello,

You question is somewhat unclear. What do you mean by "fail entire Project" ? A project comprises of several build configurations,
so in fact, status is set mostly to build configuration.

If you want build configuration to fail, ensure that build script fails when you deployment/upload step is not successful. "Fails" here mean
non-zero exit code of the build process.

Well let's say in one project - I have 4 build steps, and then 4 deployment steps.

I would like all the build steps to run in parallel, and then once all of them successfully complete, all the deployment steps run in parallel.

However, anytime any single one of those steps fails - I would like to fail the entire project, and not allow any other further tests to run.

Is there any way to that? Thanks!

Hello,

The scenario when a build step depends on several parallel steps is not supported yet in TeamCity.
This scenario is one of our main focuses in next major version of TeamCity.
