upgrade/uninstall question

I'm uninstalling 3.1 to prepare for 4.0.
The uninstall screens ask if build agent log files, config files and work directory should be removed. Log files is checked by default. What options should I choose?

Also, I see people referring to a release candidate (RC), is this available for download?

Hello,

Follow the defaults - remove logs only, otherwise you'll loose your build configurations.
And if you're impatient, keep trying the link TeamCity-4.0.exe

I have follow-up questions about the upgrade.

1. We are using Oracle for TeamCity data storage. Will CREATE_TABLE permission be sufficient during the upgrade? According to our DBA, that permission allows to create and drop the tables within the schema. I just want to confirm that no other permissions are required.
2. We are currently running TC 3.1.2 with an evaluation Enterprise license, which runs out in 4 days. We are buying the Enterprise license for TC 4.0 (the team liked what we saw in the Enterprise version - great work, JetBrains!). What should be my sequence of steps to upgrade to 4.0 Enterprise? Upgrade before evaluation runs out and then enter the purchased license key or first enter the license key and then upgrade? I would like to avoid a "revert" to Professional mode if possible.

Thanks,
Oleg.

1) TeamCity converters need to be able to create / drop tables, indexes and columns.

2) If your enterprise license is not yet expired it does not matter in what sequence you will make the upgrade

Before upgrade please ensure you have a backup copy of your data.

Thanks, Pavel! CREATE_TABLE should be able to do that.
