TeamCity not seeing agent

I have been experimenting with TeamCity and have not been able to get it to see my agent. Bother services are running on windows - see screenshot. Server.xml has Connector  port="8111".   buildAgent.properties has
ownPort=9090
serverUrl=http\://localhost\:8111

But still is does not pick up the agent and says none are registered (screenshot attached).

I have turned on debug logging as instructed at
http://www.jetbrains.net/confluence/display/TCD4/Reporting+Issues
but did not find any resultant tam city log files.

Any ideas on how I can get the agent seen?

Thanks, Tom.

Take a look at <agent inst dir>/logs directory. There should be teamcity-agent.log with description of the problem.

Thanks. That showed:

jetbrains.buildServer.AGENT - Start build agent
jetbrains.buildServer.AGENT - Starting agent Web server on port 9090
...
buildServer.AGENT.registration - Registered: id:1, authorizationToken:67973c7c8421e1ed4ea053c86613c98b
buildServer.AGENT.registration - If this is the first time this agent registered on the server make sure it is authorized by administrator in the server web UI.
jetbrains.buildServer.AGENT - Shutdown agent start
jetbrains.buildServer.AGENT - Unregistering from build server: 1
agent.impl.AgentPortFileWriter - Delete agent runtime file from C:\Program Files\JetBrains\TeamCity\buildAgent\logs\buildAgent.port

So I updated ownPort to 8111 in buildAgent.properties and restarted the build agent service. Nothing additonal was written to the log though I tried the restart a coyple of times.

Looking at buildAgent.port I see:
agentXmlRpc=http\://localhost\:8112

So am I wrong to put them both on 8111?

How long did you wait the agent appearing? When agent connects to the server for the first time it downloads updates from the server and initiates upgrade. In this case agent won't appear in the web UI until upgrade finishes. I would suggest you the following: reinstall agent (becuase if agent was killed during upgrade chances are it will not function properly). Then use the same config as it looks correct and start the agent. If agent upgrade starts you will see messages in the upgrade.log. Please do not stop agent till upgrade finishes. After that agent should appear in the web UI.

Thanks. I did not wait long enough. It is there when I rechecked.
