Artifact Dependency, does it overwrite files?

I've got an artifact dependency and I want it to overwrite a file of the same name in the destination folder.  It doesn't seem to do that.  I don't want to clean out the destination folder.  I guess I could put the artifact in a different location and point the build to that new location, but I'd rather overwrite the existing file.

Suggestions?

Actually the file should be overwritten unless it is read only. Please take a look at this issue and vote if it is similar to your case: http://www.jetbrains.net/tracker/issue/TW-8227

At first it did seem to be that the file was not being overwritten.  Now I double checked it by running the project that produces dependency, and the jar was overwritten correctly.

My situation is somewhat like that issue, but my files are not read only, and there seems to be no problem now.  Sorry.

If would be nice if the documentation/help said that it overwrites files.
