Vault Support?

I'm currently a CC.Net user, but I'm very excited about the free TC version. My only concern is that SourceGear Vault isn't supported. I assume this is required to setup the build triggers. Can I create a Vault module? Or can I use vault from the command line?

I'm also looking out for something that I can make a build server out of, and looking through the documentation there's the ability to make a plugin I am guessing although it's a bit out of my comfort zone at the moment.

I think you can use msbuild with TC so you could use the command line client couldn't you?

That's in the msbuild script and you should be able to work it out to grab the latest version from Vault.

It would be nice to be able to monitor and use CI though.

Sorry for the delay in reply.

We have the issue on the Vault support that you can watch/vote for:

However, I am not sure we will be able to address it any time soon.
You can do the checkout inside the build script, but that of course will make TeamCity very limited: no changes reporting, no My Changes view, etc.

Valut support can be implemented as a plugin for TeamCity. We have (somewhat very basic) plugin API description at and will be glad to answer all the questions you might have about writing TeamCity plugins.
