Team City integration with sourcesafe

We have a problem, when team city checks sourcesafe to see if there have been any changes, it does not always do a build with the latest changes but sometimes it does.  In team city, regardless of whether it has built the right thing it shows as having no changes.  We are using the latest version of team city.

What version of VSS is installed on the machine where TeamCity server is running?
Does every developer uses the same version of VSS?

Does changes appears within a same delay? If so there could be an timezone issue, so TeamCity server and VSS client uses different time zones.

Was there any error messages?

Please check TeamCity server running user account have enough rights to access VSS database share.

Thanks!

Hi Eugene, I think you are on to something there.  We are using Sourcesafe 8 for some configurations and Subversion for others.  We have recently moved the virtual machines that hold team city and the build agents to a linux host (esxi) which appears to have been installed with realtime.  Sourcesafe sits on a server which has the proper time so this may be causing the issue.  I am looking to get the host set to the right time and will respond back as to whether this has fixed the problem.  Thanks for your help
