Disabled EC2 agent still shutsdown

Hi,

Anyone feel this can be annoying?  Wouldn't it be nice if the ec2 agent stayed up if the agent was disabled?  I feel this would be very helpful to diagnose issues.  I created a ticket here if anyone is interested in this:
