Using Perforce tickets in TeamCity

Hi,
On the configuration page for the Perforce CVS (the "Edit VCS Root" page, Type of VCS = Perforce), there is a option to "Use ticket-based authentication".  What does this do?

What I'd like to be able to do is to use a "background" account in Perforce that has a ticket that never expires, and not have to specify a password in TeamCity.  Is this possible?
