NTLM Auth: java.lang.RuntimeException: Plain text passwords are disabled

We have NTLM-auth set up in out TC server.
main-config.xml:
  <auth-type>
    <login-module />
    <guest-login allowed="false" guest-username="guest" />
    <free-registration allowed="false" />
  </auth-type>

It worked fine.But someday I tried to relogin and get an error. In the "logs\teamcity-server.log" I found the following:
[2011-08-31 12:38:38,423]   WARN -   jetbrains.buildServer.SERVER - java.lang.RuntimeException: Plain text passwords are disabled
[2011-08-31 12:38:38,423]   WARN -   jetbrains.buildServer.SERVER - Login for user {username} failed: java.lang.RuntimeException: Plain text passwords are disabled

Now all users after they log out can't log in again on the server.
We didn't change anything in out config.

What can be wrong and what should we check in our AD? Is it possible to get more info on the error?
Thanks.

Adding:
ntlm.compatibilityMode=true
into ntlm-config.properties has solverd the problem.
