Running Team City Build Agent on Windows Server 2008?

I wonder if anyone has any experience running the build agent on Windows Server 2008? Will it work? It is unfortunatelly not listed under supported platforms and environments (http://confluence.jetbrains.net/display/TCD65/Supported+Platforms+and+Environments). We are planning to buy a rack mounted server to build our .Net-projects and would prefer running Windows Server 2008 over Windows 7 as long as it doesn't give us any problems with the build agent.

Hi

I have a number of Windows 2008 machines running teamcity agents as services and have no problems. :-)

We do not test build agents especially on Windows Server, but at the moment there are no known issues for Windows Server specifically.
