httpAuth with context Follow

I placed the teamcity .war file in a running tomcat,
teamcity is accessible at e.g. buildserver:8080/tc/admin/serverConfig.html?init=1 (context tc)

http auth with :8080/tc/httpAuth/admin/serverConfig.html?init=1
does not seem to work (tomcat 404)

is there something else required to get this working when not using the tomcat bundled with teamcity?

ok, seems to work.
it works only for controllers & it was my plugin that was not correctly installed.

question is answered, thanks.
