Scheduled triggers and dependencies

The scheduled trigger has the option to:

"Trigger only if there are pending changes"

That option only refers to the current configuration. I would like to trigger the configuration if there are changes to this configuration or to any snapshot dependencies or deeper snapshot dependencies. I think this is identical to the VCS trigger's "Trigger on changes to in snapshot dependencies". How do I set this up?
