How to Tag Builds when my code is pointing to the trunk

Hello,

My project in subversion is structured as following

Project->branches
Project->trunk
Project->tags
Project->tags\1.0.0.1
Project->tags\1.0.0.2
Project->tags\1.0.0.3

Now the only way I could get tagging to work was by pointing to 'Project' which meant TeamCity checked out all the code, as you can see as new builds are done the tag sub folders will increase which would then decrease performance.

I want to point my build to the trunk and only checkout at the trunk but still want to tag the code and commit it into the correct location.

How do I go about doing this?

Thank you.

Dinesh
