How do I get the Project overview page collapsed information to present the last build date as was done by 6.0.2?

I just upgrade from 6.0.2 to 7.1.3.

In version 6 the last build for a build configuration was visible on the collapsed build configuration line (image attached).
In version 7 it is not. Can I get it back?

(The following omits angle brackets and other characters I didn't have the time to figure out how to include)
(To be clear what I mean by a project overview page, it is a page accessed with project.html?projectId=)

In v7 the collapsed line is a <div id=...>. Within this div is an empty <span ...>. I'm suspecting there is something simple I can to to get this span to populate. True? How?

In v6 this line was also a tableCaption div. It contained a <span ...> that presented the lastBuilt date.

Also, I would like the v6 style last build values, 28 Jan 13 10:05, rather than "5 days ago". Can I turn off this (some) user(s) friendly feature?

Thanks for reading this far, and more so for your response.

Hi Peter,

Actually I can't remember this, do you have a screenshot to clarify what view you mean?
I do remember that we discussed the possibility of such view, but didn't find a good solution.

The answer to most of your questions is a custom plugin: using JS you can insert any data anywhere you want and convert the last build date.
Please be ready to update it after upgrades though, because the underlying HTML structure can be changed any time.

Thanks for the response Maxim. I look forward to doing some plugin work but thought this matter may already have a built in solution.

I've attached an image from TC 6 to the original posting showing a project with a collapsed build configuration line that presents the last built information as I would like to see in TC 7.

Having seen the similarity in the 'div's that are the collapsed build configuration line presented by TC 6 and TC 7, both including the addMessage span, I thought there might be a configuration setting in TC 7 that would cause the existing span to populate as it did in TC 6.

I will certainly be looking at what can be done to customize the standard views presented by TC. I'm going looking for an example project to guide me. Got any suggestions?

Thanks again, -Peter

Ah, you mean just a date. Yes, I guess we had to drop this, because of other information in this line: investigations, failed to start builds, problems summary, etc.

Could you please share why you collapse build configurations? Is last build date the only information that you need?

Why do I collapse: to fit as many build configuration lines on the screen as I can to see their summary status. A little over two weeks in to v7 and I don't recall what all v6 presented. I just know I can't visually scan collapsed build lines to see when everything last built. I believe it also showed changes and pending among others.

Is last built the only information that you need: Given the information you mentioned, what I currently see and what I'd like to see, I guess I'd like to be able to pick what's important to me to have on the collapsed build configuration line. I'd roll as much of the expanded status line's information up on to the collapsed line as possible.

What's important to me today is: Last build #/failed to start, status pulldown, artifacts pulldown, changes pulldown (pending being pushed right, past last build information), last built, pending, investigations/problems/etc, Idle, Run..., X

I agree full customization of the overview page would be a big feature, a bit hard to implement unfortunately.

That's basically the whole build row.
I think a dedicated page that shows just the last builds, one per line, would be best for you.
If you don't care much about hiding/restoring ('x'), making a project tab (as a plugin) with this such presentation is not a bit challenge.
What do you say?
