Restricting Build Configurations

Hi

Fairly new to Team City, but its 1000 times better than Cruise Control (although thats good too).

I have setup a project and have 3 build configurations (Development, Staging and Live).  We restrict our developers to push sites staging and live as sometimes things are not correctly checked.  However I want to lift this restriction on Staging.  I cannot figure out how to allow the group "Developers" to be able to push Development (which has a trigger anyway) and Staging alone but keep Live to administrator push only.

Please could someone tell me if this is possible or how I would re construct the project to allow this.

The only other way of doing this would be to create 3 projects per site (which would be a total pain).

Thanks.

Hi

Create a Development&Staging project for all those jobs, and give Developer rights on them to Developers.
Create a Live project for all the production jobs and give Developer rights to Admin group.

Hi

Thanks for your response.  We did it a different way.  We created a PowerShell script and added this to the build parameters which is set asked to allow the build.  This is set to false and the only group can change are the adminitrators.  Job done!
