MySql server in slave master mode

We would like to move our MySql Database to a linux box. I have been requested to check on the use of MySql in a slave/master relationship and if this is supported in the present TeamCity configuration . We are presently running Team City 8.0.2 on a Windows 2008 R2 server. The MySql is running on the same machine. I have looked through the Team City Documentation and some of the blog posts but could not find any information on this matter. From what I understand the question would be how will Team City react if the Master goes down for some reason and the Slave is in ReadOnly mode?

Thanks for any information you can provide.

Hi

TeamCity is not designed to work with read-only database.
You'll have to switch TeamCity server off, move the database, update TeamCity settings, and then start it back.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for the reply. We will be using the slave for quick recover as you described.

Thanks again.
