Teamcity on a mySQL cluster

I'm looking at improving the performance of my current database setup (Linux / mySQL on a single node). I haven't been able to find anything documented online about using a clustered mySQL database. Would something like that be completely transparent to teamcity or would there by anything else that I'd have to configure internally? Has anyoen tried this?
