How to fail a build if java compiler warnings go up?

I hava a java project and would like to fail the build if the java compiler warnings go up than the previous build. I know I can use findbugs and PMD to get a report, I am just wondering is there a built in way to do this.

Thanks.

Currently TeamCity does not support build failure condition, that depends on number of compiler warnings. I would suggest to take a look at Build Failure Conditions page. If you can report number of compiler warnings as a custom metric, you can tell TeamCity to fail build on metric change.

Additionally, you can create an issue in our tracker describing your needs
