Nuspec Dependencies

I am creating a Nuget Pack for my visual studio project.  When it creates the nuget package it also creates a nuspec file with dependencies in the nuspec file.  When I go to deploy with redgate deployment manager it errors out because it does not support dependencies.  What do I need to do for the dependencies to be removed from nuspec file or is there something else that needs to be done.
