buildAgent.jnlp will not load

Hi,
I'm running TeamCity 8.1.1 on Mavericks.

I set up a remote host (in a Parallels VM) that runs Mavericks.  And when I try to install a build agent by double clicking on buildAgent.jnlp, I always get the same error message, "To open this Web Start application, you need to download the Java Runtime Environment." even though I have installed Java 1.6 which I got here: http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1572

How can I get it to recognize the Java installation?

   Thanks for any help.

Hello,

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like we can help here, because it's something wrong with your installation. You might want to try installing java from oracle. Their packages usually do all necessary configuration settings changes by themselves.

I've re-installed multiple times.  But perhaps I can find something from Oracle.

Thanks!

You can download buildAgent.zip and unpack and install it manually. That should be easier.

I used Push Agent and that seems to have worked fine. :)
