Visual Studio Plugin csproj. Files not considered

Hi,
it seems like the VSPlugin doesn’t show changes on my .csproj files in the local changes Window. In addition to that, those files are not even used to perform a remote run or a pre-tested commit. So if I just rename a class and make a pre-tested commit, the build fails.
I can hardly imagine that this is a generel problem cause I couldn’t find anything about it and I would make the tool kind of less powerfull.
Could it be a problem with my configuration? Any idea?
Thank You

Hi Jonas,

It seems that .csproj file was not changed, if it was not shown in Local Changes window. Could you please try to compile project in VS before performing remote run?
What was the error of the failed build?

Hi Alina!

Thanks for your reply. Indeed after compiling, the .csproj file (and some other related files) are summed up in the local changes window (they where not shown before compiling).
This is good to know, but I think it's not the excepted behavior that you have to compile before all local changes are detected.
The error of the failed build was "error CS0246: Type or namespace 'RabattStatus' could not be found." (this is my personal translation from german language ;)), where 'RabattStatus' is the new name of the renamed class.

Hi Jonas,

It is not TeamCity related. When user makes changes VS stores these settings in .csproj.user file. .csproj file is not saved unless the user explicitly saves it. For more details please read the related question on stackoverflow and on VS forum.
