Using VMWare plugin to start a snapshot of a machine

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there is an option to restore a snapshot of a VM when using VMWare plugin and start the machine?
From what i see in the documentation this is available on the Hyper-V but not on VMware.

Did i miss it?

Hi, what particular VMware do you mean? They have plenty of different products: Vmware player, ESX(i), vCenter, etc.

Hi,

I'm connecting the the vcenter. At the moment i have scipts that performs this throw the VMWareCLI but i wish to make the, cloud like without deploying new machines but by restoring snapshot of machines.

You can configure whether to deploy a VM using its latest state or by cloning from a certain snapshot, which you can select from the snapshot dropdown.
