Cannot delete build configurations or projects
I setup several test projects and build configurations to try the integration with Octopus. That all worked great but now I can't delete any of them. Clicking on the menu and selecting "delete build configuration" results in no action being performed (page doesn't refresh, nothing). I should note that I was using build configurations and templates. Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

What TeamCity version is used? There was the related issue fixed in 8.0 https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/TW-28415.
If you use on e of the latest versions then please attach teamcity-server.log file.
I'm having the same issue. I cannot delete build steps, disable build steps, delete template in CHROME.
Everything works as expected in good old IE . TeamCity Professional 9.1.6 (build 37459)
