Why is my build log empty?

As the build is running, I can see the build log gradually appearing. But as soon as the build finishes, it just says "Build log is empty". See attached screenshot.

I have not set up clean up rules to delete them, see the other attached screenshot.

How do I debug this issue?

Some more information:

We're using a command line build step on a Windows agent. I added `sleep 10` at the end of the build step, then the build log stopped disappearing. I then added `false` after that again, and the log started disappearing again. It seems the log only disappears if the build fails. (Note that this is on a Windows agent, but we have msysGit in path)

Sorry, forget about that, it seems to be more random than that. Simply adding `true` at the end of the build step doesn't help.

Hello Anders,

There is a known bug in TeamCity https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/TW-43196. Please ensure the server time and the filesystem times are synchronized.

Hi Alina, thanks for your quick reply. I hope you can fix this, it wasted quite a bit of time for me. I have asked the admin to make sure the times are synced now.

The issue is already fixed in TeamCity 9.1.5 which is going to be released in a week.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
