How to write a MKS VCS Plugin

Hi all,

I've just downloaded the latest version in my attempt to test it's capabilities with our source control system and was a little surprised when MKS wasn't supported. I was under the impression it was quite popular in businesses but a google has told me otherwise!!!

Is there an open source plugin I can use which isn't officially supported or is it in the works for future versions?

I am a little resigned to writing my own, plugin but I see some people have managed to get it to work, so wondered whether they could give me some information or if they would like to share their code?

I would be extremely grateful.

Thanks,

Jamie

Not that I know of.

I'd cross-post into the issue we have filed to support the VCS. However, not much activity around it so far.

Thanks for the info.

I know the company I am working for is looking to move to another build system integration and currently use MKS, so I'd certainly vote this highly.

Are there any guidelines on how to integrate the VCS plugin, I can start making headway on this myself?

Regards,

Jamie

I'd start from plugin development doc and specifically VCS support part.

Also, there are open-source examples listed in "Version Control Systems Support" of the plugins page. I'd recommend looking into Git or Valut plugin sources.
