How to configure location of .BuildServer directory?

The TeamCity server places build artifacts and other such files in the $HOME/.BuildServer directory. In some server setups this may not be the most ideal location especially if the HOME directory is hosted on an NFS server or the server is running as root, for example.

Is there a way to configure the location of the .BuildServer directory?

Thanks,
Gordon

It's in tomcat/webapps/buildServer/WEB-INF/buildServerSpring.xml

Though I don't quite like editing this file as it makes updating builds a pain.

Thanks, Sascha. As you say, it's not the most ideal location for a setting like this. A system property or something that is independent of the files contained in the TeamCity distribution would be better.

Hello,

Could you please submit this request in JIRA?
