Do you think it is possible/feasable to use TeamCity without VCS support?

Hello everyone,

Looks like StarTeam will not be supported for a while. I would like your
opinion on whether it is a good idea to proceed with TeamCity and use ant
starteam tasks to check files out (just like we do now when running builds
locally) or VCS is so central to whole thing that absence of it will make
TeamCity pretty useless?

Thank you

Alex

Surely it's good idea to use TeamCity even without VCS checkout.
In this case you'll get other features like notifications, test reports,
artifact management, change information, server-side code coverage.

You'll just to provide a script which checks out and starts your build.

Kind regards,
KIR
