New competition from Atlassian

http://www.atlassian.com/software/bamboo/

Some interesting features, especially reporting and JIRA integration, but I can't see paying money for a build server without IDE integration or multiple build agents. Nice to see more people trying to play in the space though. Competition makes for better products...

I was surprised at how many of what I consider critical features it seemed to be missing, especially coming so late to the game. Granted, I've only done a brief overview of the feature list and watched the flash demo.

Pulse (http://zutubi.com/products/pulse/) seems to have the most comparable feature set and has been out for about six months. It has a different pricing scheme (basically, pay per agent instead of per user), which might make it attractive to certain teams.

I'm still happy with our choice of TeamCity and getting happier by the EAP.

Dave,

We plan adding statistics features in the next release of TeamCity (will be released this year, but after Agra).
It becomes a real pain to find longest tests and reduce build time :)

Surely, we watch our competitions (as they watch us :)

Regards,
KIR
