Build trigger from command line

1. Is there a way to trigger a build from command prompt (say a batch file) without using WebUI (i mean server GUI) ?
2. Also, is there a way to specify a particular agent which we want to use for a specific build without using web UI.

Thanks

Hello,

Sorry for not replying in time - we happened to overlook the message somehow.

1. Is there a way to trigger a build from command prompt (say a batch file) without using WebUI (i mean server GUI) ?

The only simple way available now is perform a GET (or POST) HTTP request to URL like:
http://testuser:testpassword@teamcity.jetbrains.com/httpAuth/action.html?add2Queue=bt10

This approach is detailed in our online documentation at:
http://www.jetbrains.net/confluence/display/TCD3/AccessingServerfrom+Scripts#AccessingServerfromScripts-TriggeringaBuildfromscript

2. Also, is there a way to specify a particular agent which we want to use for a specific build without using web UI.

Using the above mentioned approach you can start build on several agents specifying agent's internal ID in the URL. Please refer to the documentation.
