Archiving of build artifacts

I've tried to discover where/how TeamCity archives build artifacts. Does it actually do this?

Thanks,
Gordon

Hi,

Did you find out how? We are running out of disk space and so do I just delete them from the directory: TeamCity\.BuildServer\system\artifacts or is there a better way to do this?

Thanks,
Chris

Do you use cleanup policies? You can configure TeamCity to preserve only the
specified number of builds in the history (with their artifacts). These
policies can be configured on the per build configuration basis.

Artifacts are stored in the TeamCity\.BuildServer\system\artifacts\\\ (build id is always increasing, so the most recent build will have the highest build id). You can safely move older artifacts to some other place. -- Pavel Sher Software Developer JetBrains, Inc. http://www.jetbrains.com "Develop with pleasure!" "Chris Kimpton" ]]> wrote in message

Umm...

On the Build History Clean-up Policy page, it says it is enabled, due to run at 3am tomorrow and took 0secs last time to run...

There are no cleanup policies configured - I guess that is what I need to add.

I have added one now... its taking awhile to process, so hopefully its doing it.

Thanks,
Chris
