Move configuration

Is there any way to move a build configuration from one project to another without having to remove it and recreate (since it will loose history) ?

Thanks

Hello,

You can move corresponding part of project-config.xml to another project
config. TeamCity should reload configuration automatically without restart.

Thanks. It worked. I copied the bt1.buildNumbers.properties file too (don't know if it was required, but think so).

I had one problem : the VCS root was attached to the old project, so I had to make it global, save the config file again so that it refreshes, then uncheck the global VCS.

Oops, another problem : I can't download artifacts. Builds seems to have "lost" them (no artifact).

Edit : Ok, you need to move the files in the .BuildServer/artifacts/]]> too.

Hello,

Artifacts are stored in the system folder:
You should move corresponding folder into the new project directory -- Pavel Sher Software Developer JetBrains, Inc. http://www.jetbrains.com "Develop with pleasure!" "Cedric Champeau" ]]> wrote in message
