Teamcity not retrieving project in solution

Hi,

I've got a solution with 9 projects. While retrieving sources from vss, teamcity gets only 8 projects. I'm using the build 6010.
Did you know where the problem could come from?

Thanks in advance,

Max.

Hello Max,
Do you use some checkout rules?

Could you please try to touch missed files in VSS

Does clean checkout helps?

Hi,

I have no checkout rules. I tried to only retrieve thoses files with a check out rule but it doesn't work. I get those files locally directly from vss and it works. I try to clean before checkout but nothing change.

Hi,

What can I do to fix that? Is it a way to fin where the problem come from?

0

I just checked the .BuildServer\system\sourcesCache folder and find a .cache file that contains all sources including the missing project. Maybe it will help to find the problem...

Hello,
Could you please try to rectreate VCS root for that project? Does that
help?

I've deleted and recreated everything from scratch, nothing change.
I've duplicated the solution under cvs and that works! At this point I can't understand where the problem is. TeamCity forgot one project but the cvs client got them all.

Hello,

What version of VSS is used? What version of VSS is used to commit?

Hi,

sorry for the long time before answering you. TeamCity detects changes in the missing project. I told you before that duplicating the solution was solving the problem but that's false. I duplicate everything in VSS but now I've got a folder in another one project that's missing while teamcity is building the solution. I've changed something in this folder and changes are also detected.

0

Something new: now the missing folder is present but only with the file I made changes to test if teamcity was detecting changes.

0

Hello,
Could you please describe that changes, if possible?

Thanks!

I just added a carriage return in a class of the missing folder to see if teamcity was detecting changes.

0

Hello,
Could you please send me history for folder that is checked out, which
contains missing folder,
history of missed file.
Was those files be renamed/moved?
History of that appeared file is interesting as well.

Thanks!

Hello,

Could you please check if TeamCity EAP 6658 is able to check out all files

Please note it has several known issues on low performance on statistic
