Build triggering - side VSC root

Hi,

My question is short - is it possible to make a build triggering rule based on changes in VSC root, that is not one of the VSC roots of this build config? That is, if I want to trigger a build by changes in svn branch, but do not want to checkout the branch itself in that build.

Hello Peter,

I'm afraid, this is not possible by the moment. Feel free to add issue to the tracker at http://jetbrains.net/tracker

Peter,

I guess you can use a workaround to have a fake build configuration with "triggering" VCS root. The configuration will be triggered by the changes in the root and succeed every time. Then you can configure a dependency trigger in your main configuration to be triggered each time the fake one succeeds.

Another option can be to detect the change (e.g. by SVN trigger) and trigger the necessary build via HTTP request.
