What constitutes "New tests"?

I have a clean build that starts with clean sources every time, and each run the few tests that fail (the same ones each time) are marked as "New" failures. What makes TC decide if a failure is new or not?

Hello Mark,

A failed test in a build is considered new if it had never failed since the last successful build. A test is identified by it's namesuitepackage.

A consequence: if your builds are successful despite of failing tests, these tests will always be new.
