Problems with TFS vcs-root when running TC on linux

Our setup:

TC 4.0 on red hat linux

VCS: TFS 2005 sp1 (soon tfs 2008)

Problem: I cant attach vcs roots to the tfs machine? ( no option is available in TC -ui)

I worked fine when we ran TC on a windows box, isn't TFS supported when running linux?
