Build hung, how to make them fail after x minutes?

Some time we have night build that hang for the rest of the night. Where is the option to tell to stop testing after 15 minutes. This is annoying because all other tests aren't executed when we came back the morning.

How can I make test that hang to automatic fail after "x" minutes?

Thank you

Hello,

Please take a look at the corresponding option on General Settings screen when editing build configuration settings.

Thank you. I start to like this system! Thank you!!!

By the ways, this forum is very slow to display and since I use TeamCity (more than 3 weeks) you guys should check that.

I just tested and I have set 3 minutes. But this is 3 minutes for the WHOLE bunch of test not individual test.

What I need is that if I have 100 tests that they are all executed and if one take more than 3 minutes, this only one fail and all other test continue. Is that possible?

This functionality is not available in TeamCity, this is the responsibility of the test framework to provide one.

It is possible in some testing frameworks. For example JUnit 4 has such feature.

I have see that in the NUnit 2.5 Beta you can add a tag but only for individual test. I have so much test that it will be kinda long to do it. That could be a great feature of TeamCity in the future to have the possibility to fail test after x minutes.

I'll give a try with the Beta version of NUnit in few weeks.
