redefining build parameters on manual run

In the release notes of build 7354 (http://www.jetbrains.net/confluence/display/TW/Calcutta+EAP+(build+7385)+Release+Notes) there was a feature called
"Ability to redefine certain build parameters on manual build run" with a corresponding screenshot, where one could check if a property could be changed.

I'm now using TC4.0 and this checkbox seems to be gone. Instead it looks as if every given property could be changed by anyone ?
We do have some properties, which I don't want to be enabled for changes by users, is this still possible ?

Is it also possible to use a system-property as a label for the vcs-checkout ?
I want to let users start an integration build for a manually specified label.

Hello Stefan,

You cannot specify VCS label as a build parameter, unless you handle checkout in the build script youself.
Unfortunately, TeamCity doesn't support parametrized checkout.
The corresponding issue in our tracker is http://jetbrains.net/tracker/issue/TW-5428 , please vote.

And you're right, in TC 4.0 any system property can be added/edited for a custom build.

  Regards,

Is it planned to make it configurable again, which properties can be edited and which not ?

Right now we need more use cases for this feature. Please submit a feature request with description of your use case to our tracker.
