I'm using Mylyn (in Eclipse 3.5) and Teamcity, and everything is working splendidly. The one bummer of a thing is:
Mylyn creates commit messages based on a template (which contains ticket number, etc) and when you go to commit a changeset in the synchronize view, you see that message waiting for you. It's very nice.
Teamcity's plugin, however, seems to have 1 problem and 1 thing I'd like to request:
- If you try to do a remote run while the changeset name is selected, it reports there are no changes for the remote run (however if you select the project within the changeset and click remote run, it works fine)
- The remote run commit message does not pick up the prepopulated commit message from mylyn. This would be very nice to have.
As it stands right now, we are doing the remote run to check for validity, and then going through the normal checkin process (instead of letting remote run do it) so we get the pre-populated message (which we have formatted to our liking)
I know that mylyn/teamcity integration may not be high on your list of priorities, but I can't imagine I'm the only one out there that is trying to use both at the same time.
