Migrating Team City server

Hi All
I am looking for some tips on how to migrate the Team City server from one machine to another. I am using the default (non external) database. I initially installed Team City on my Windows desktop machine but now that it is working well and other team members are using it I would like to migrate it to a more powerful server, and I would like to retain all the build configurations and history that I have built up so far. I looked about your web site for some tips on how to do this but didn't find anything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks

Michael

Hi Michael,

Migrating is fairly straight forward, simply backup your .BuildServer directory, this should be in the home directory of the user that TeamCity runs under. Install TeamCity on the new server then put your BuildServer backup into the home directory of the user that it will run under. There's more info about backing up and restoring data related to upgrades but apply to migrating aswell at http://www.jetbrains.net/confluence/display/TCD4/TeamCity+Data+Backup
