Team City and Windows Platform SDK 2003

Hi,

I have a number of projects that use the Open Build Environment from the Platform SDK 2003 for building and am looking at Team City Server to automate the build of them. However I have no real idea of how to go about this. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Thanks
Colin

I maybe didn't phrase the question too well so I'll try again.

All the Open Build Environment does is run a cmd file to set up a number of environment variables (just like vcvarsall.bat) e.g. Include paths which then get passed into visual studio 2008 using devenv /useenv. I would like to replicate this using one of the build runners (sln2008) in TeamCity server but don't really know how to go about this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Colin

We have an issue for it at http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issue/TW-6774
Please vote for it.

The only workaround is to add those variables before build agent starts.

Another approach is to move all such variable declarations to msbuild. You may add 'set' command to the end of the .bat file and than parse the output from MSBuild.

Thanks!
